Francoise Gilbert
Managing Director
IT Law Group
Ms. Gilbert is the Managing Director of the IT Law Group. She concentrates her practice on data privacy and security and data management.
Ms. Gilbert has been working on information privacy and security issues since the early 1990’s, and she has extensively published and lectured on these issues
throughout the United States and abroad. She is the author of the upcoming book “The CPO Deskbook on Global Privacy and Data Protection” (ABA Publishing 2009). In addition, she co-chairs the PLI Privacy Law Institute, the E-Privacy Committee of the American Bar Association, and the Silicon Valley KnowledgeNet of the International Association of Privacy Professional.
Ms. Gilbert is listed in the 2008 editions of The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, and Who’s Who in Ecommerce in the area of information technology and data privacy and security. Before founding the IT Law Group, Ms. Gilbert was the head of the Privacy Group at a large national lawfirm.
