Dear Security Executive,
I would like to welcome you to the CISO Forum web site and your interest in this forum that provides the security executive an opportunity to share information and learn from each other.
Having served as VP/CISO for eBay and CISO and CSO for Microsoft, I know first hand how important it is for us to work together to insure we are not reinventing the wheel as well as enhancing the standing of the Information Security field. To that end, I welcome and encourage your attendance and participation in the various events that we present.
The ISSA is one of the largest non-profit associations of information security professionals with chapters around the world, with over 13,000 members in 89 countries. When the CISO Executive was started it was with the intent to address the needs of high-level information security executives such as you.
The CISO Executive Forum is designed to furnish you with a venue to network with your peers from around the world; get training and information designed specifically to meet your needs, and to become better informed various aspects of legislation, regulations, and other issues impacting our jobs on a daily basis. This forum gives us a place to convene face-to-face with CISOs from other organizations, to build the relationships that enable us to share expertise that will benefit the industry.
As a member, you are invited to attend the various meetings that we hold and look forward to your contributions and participation.
